Autumn & Winter Workshops

With Radley Cross Market Garden

AUTUMNAL FLOWER ARRANGEMENT
SUNDAY 8TH OCTOBER, 10AM

This is going to be something really fun and a bit different - bring along a bunch of supermarket flowers and we'll teach you how to jazz them up and make a really impressive bouquet or arrangement. We'll go on a forage around the farm and hedgerows for beautiful blooms, foliage and texture and then head back to the studio to make a beautiful seasonal handtied bouquet. Feel free to bring a container to arrange in if you wish - we'll provide foam and wire and teach you how!

STARTING A HOME CUTTING GARDEN
SUNDAY 15TH OCTOBER, 10AM

Learn how to make a gorgeous cutting patch in your garden at home. With Ant's farming prowess and Sarah's experience of squeezing as many blooms as possible out of a small space, we'll go through all the basics of how to get started, what to grow and how to keep your plants happy and productive.

MULCHING AND GROUND PREPARATION
SUNDAY 12TH NOVEMBER, 10AM

The perfect workshop for the keen gardener who wants to learn how to get the most out of their soil, whether it's for flowers, vegetables or shrubs. Ant will give you all the details about how to develop your soil health, the pros and cons of different digging techniques and how to supplement it to give ideal growing conditions. We will also cover the different types of mulching and how to do it - please bring wellies as we'll be heading into the perennial garden to have a go!

All workshops cost £30 and last for approximately 3 hours. Tea and cake is included so please let us know any dietary requirements.
Please bring wellies, notebook and pen, and for the autumnal floral arrangement, a mixed bunch of supermarket flowers.
